Who can contribute?

Ontario residents may contribute to Danny Lui’s campaign as individuals.

Corporations, unions, organizations and associations cannot make campaign contributions.

Contribution limits

You may contribute up to $1,200 to Danny’s campaign during the 2026 election.

If you contribute to other candidates running for Guelph City Council, your total combined contributions to all council candidates cannot exceed $5,000.

Contributions must come from your own funds and be made in your own name.

If your total contributions to Danny’s campaign exceed $100, your name and address will appear on the campaign’s publicly filed financial statement.

Municipal campaign contributions are not tax deductible.

2. Email us your
contributor information

So we can properly record your contribution and send you a receipt, after sending your e-transfer, please send a separate email to votedannylui@gmail.com with:

• Your full name

• Your residential address, including postal code

• The amount of your contribution

• Your email address

By making a contribution, you confirm that you are an Ontario resident, that the contribution is from your own funds, and that you are within the contribution limits described on this page.
